Increase Barrier Height & Pass Inspection First Time

A pool fence or boundary wall that falls short of the required 1200mm minimum height—or features nearby step-offs that reduce effective barrier height—is one of the most frequent and frustrating reasons for receiving a Form 26 Notice of Non-Compliance in Queensland.

Our clear acrylic (aka. Perspex) fence & wall height extension panels provide an instant, council-approved fix to extend your existing barrier. By mounting high-clarity acrylic strips directly to the top of timber fences, boundary walls, retaining ledges, or glass spigots, you increase effective fence height to meet AS 1926.1 standards—all without creating an unsightly or dark visual obstruction in your yard.

Designed as a flexible DIY solution, these 1m panels can be easily drilled, taped, or trimmed to fit your exact fence line without paying for expensive custom factory setup fees.

Why Choose Our Acrylic Fence Height Extensions?

  • Guaranteed Pool Safety Compliance: Instantly raise fence or wall height to satisfy the 1200mm barrier rule and eliminate climbable step-offs in the Non-Climbable Zone (NCZ).

  • Flawless Optical Clarity: Crystal-clear acrylic blends seamlessly into existing timber, masonry, or glass fencing, preserving open outdoor views and natural sunlight.

  • Commercial-Grade Durability: Fabricated from heavy-duty 4.5mm UV-resistant acrylic (Perspex) with a 20-year warranty against yellowing. Built to withstand harsh Queensland heat and pool chemicals.

  • Finished Arris Edges: Machined with softened, small arris edges to eliminate sharp corners for safe handling and clean aesthetics.

  • Easy DIY Installation: Supplied in convenient 1-metre lengths. Simply drill and screw to top rails/posts, or apply with high-strength outdoor bonding tape or neutral-cure silicone. (See our FAQ for cutting and drilling tips).
