  • Customer Responsibility: While our products (including infill strips, barriers, and hardware) are engineered to help property owners meet relevant safety guidelines (such as Australian Standard AS 1926.1), it remains the sole responsibility of the customer/property owner to ensure that their overall installation fully complies with local council regulations, building codes, and state pool safety legislation.

  • Certification & Inspection: Purchasing or installing our products does not automatically guarantee a pool safety certificate. Compliance depends entirely on correct installation, precise measurements, and the assessment of an accredited, licensed pool safety inspector.

  • Professional Advice: Information provided on this website is for general guidance only and does not constitute official certifier advice. Always consult a qualified local pool inspector if you are unsure about specific compliance requirements.

3. Product Installation & Use

  • DIY Installation: Customers installing products themselves assume all risks associated with improper measurement, cutting, mounting, or fixing.

  • Appropriate Hardware: Products must be secured using appropriate, trade-quality fasteners and adhesives suitable for your specific substrate (e.g., timber, metal, or masonry).

  • Limitation of Liability for Misuse: We are not liable for any property damage, personal injury, council fines, or failed inspections resulting from incorrect installation, unauthorized product modification, or failure to follow proper safety precautions.

4. Pricing & Orders

  • Pricing: All prices listed on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST (Goods and Services Tax) unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  • Price Changes: Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.

  • Order Acceptance: We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order placed with us. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the email or phone number provided at the time the order was made.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Delivery Services: We ship goods across Australia using third-party services. Estimated delivery times provided at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

  • Transit Damage: Please inspect your order immediately upon arrival. If your items arrive damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence of the damage and packaging so we can lodge a claim with the carrier.

  • Incorrect Address: We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the buyer during checkout.

6. Australian Consumer Law, Refunds & Returns

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

B. Change of Mind Returns

  • Custom-cut items, made-to-order products, or modified materials may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.

  • For standard stock items, change-of-mind return requests must be submitted within 14 days of receiving your item.

  • Returned items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging. The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

All content included on this site—including text, graphics, logos, images, product photos, code, and design layout—is the property of Pool Safety Warehouse and is protected by Australian and international copyright laws. Unauthorised reproduction or distribution is strictly prohibited.

8. Limitation of Liability
